FIESTAS DE LA CALLE SAN SEBASTIAN

Last week was "Las Fiestas de la calle San Sebastian", every year people from all parts of the island come to this street in old san juan call San Sebastian is like a mardi gra celebration music, lots of drinking and party during that weekend, plus there an area the people come to sell hand craft stuff. Beutiful pieces that are unique and made with diferent kinds of materials. Since Sarah came I can't during the night, because it gets so crowded that you can't even walk, but for the young people really enjoy it.

I manege to sneak during the day to get a few things for the girls.

QUILTS

Yesterday the quilts arrived, So 100 wish quilt, room, beding, clothes, toys, big sister ready for Emily's arrival we just need more speed from the CCAA( I sound like a broken record) to complete our family or to finish with the adoption process. So here some pictures of the quitls, I got in so many swaps that I end up with material for a few quilts. For the 100 wish quitl.

If you notice all the quilts have a pink heart, well the hearts were made from a cotton shirt that my mom had. Since she's not longer with us, I thought that it will be nice to include something of hers in the girls quitls.

This quilt is for Sarah, she is from the year of the dog like her mom.

This ladybug quilt Im planing to take to China.

And a kitty quilt for Emily.
