After 18 months the april 07 is in review... Yes. The CCAA know who were are and I hope they like us and everybody made it thru. Another good news.

GREAT NEWS

In summary, it is our understanding that, effective immediately, families who filed Form I-600A, Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition, prior to April 1, 2008 and whose USCIS approval of that petition (aka the I-171H/I-797C) has not expired, will be able to proceed with their adoption under the I-600A process if they take certain steps while their approval remains valid. This means that families with valid Form I-600A approvals will not be required to transition to The Hague process via the Form I-800A. In order to maintain their status as ‘grandfathered’ cases, families with non-expired Form I-600A approvals must request a one-time free extension. Then, prior to the expiration of the one-time free extension, families must file a new Form I-600A and pay the appropriate fee.

This news is a relive for all of us that will be affected if we had to change to the new rules, a good news in this long long road to China.

GOODIES FROM ONTARIO

I got a package from my friend Judy, she is also my Jake breeder and he spent a few months with her while he finished is Canadian Ch. and she was so pruod of him that he choose him to be in the Canadian calendar of 2009, plus in was in the monthly magazine, she send my a calendar, the magazine, his ribbons and to top it all chocolate fill with maple syrup (just what I need!), this little things makes you keep working, grooming and training.

Finally a New Cook Top

Finally my cook top arrived, now I can practice my cooking and try do blend the asian flavors with latin food so the girls will now the taste of their birth countries and a rookie at the kitchen so this will be a trial an error.

This morning I had to park at the top of parking lot I like to park there because you can look at the pier and see the cruise ships coming and going, this morning the marines where making some repairs to an air carrier it was so big that it took one side of the pier and after lots of rainy days we have a beautiful sunshine day.

UPDATE

Since my last post there has been good things and a few not that good, well the not that good one is about my house, well my buyer's house was also selling his aparment and in oder to close with me he needs to close his apartment first, but when the bank call his buyers to close they did not show up and as a result our closing went down the hill, for some irreponsable people(doctors non the less) so with a heartbreak we are back to the showings someting that I hate, paiting the house and doing some repairs that I hope would help for a fast sale(Lisa la porte from design to sell is in town I could use help) I saw a house that I like and that works for all of us so I hope it will be waiting us.

On the good news, the day that I good the news about the house when I got home I was in the car looking at the house and thinking about all the boxes made, back to showing, about my poor furry babies all the cramp in the garage while I show the house and I was getting so piss when I heard my next door neighbor calling me and I was oh crap now what, but she was calling me to tell me that finally she got a daugther she and her husband wait over four years to get a referral (a domestic one) a three year old girl and she was calling me to invite us to her birthday party( she turn four last saturday) and that news help my anger to go down a lot maybe that little girl will need our help in her transition to her new family and the next day my cyber shower gift arrived, thank you so much Kim I love it all and sorry for the delay post but I was not in thepost mood.

Also I decided to do things that I was waiting to move to do. Like getting in shape I need to be in top condition to China I want to climb the great wall all the way(or at least I will try) plus with to kids I will need all the energy I can get.

Also I doing Bento meals to take to work and for snacks for Sarah and its been a challenge because my Hi tech? kitchen dont help for the last year and half my top broke and i been using a camping stove that takes about 30 minute to boil water but this friday my new one will arrive and Ill be able to do more stuff, in the blogs about bento they look so easy to make but in reality its a challlenge to arrange to food in those tiny boxes, but with practice and with the right supplies I will do better.
And to finish this post my china girl Ronnie is in Ohio with her handler Luke to start her show career I miss her already but is good for her and I hope to have her back home soon.
